School Annual Report 2024-25

A heart filled with aspiration is all that we know since the very existence of the school and that`s what gave us the ambition of marching forward till excellence is achieved in all our endeavours. It`s a pride treading a long journey of almost 20 years now and CIPS has been blooming & blossoming continually spreading its fragrance. The huge number of Alumni are testimony to its growth & achievements.

I am happy to place on record that the school continues to be a harbinger in imparting quality education. The awards are the proofs. CIPS Kamptee Road is awarded as one of the Dynamic schools by Education News Network(ENN) and was felicitated in Maharashtra Educator’s Summit in Mumbai.

Navbharat Education Summit 2023 acknowledged and applauded the efforts of educational leaders who went beyond a mile and demonstrated excellence in the field of education. This accolade and recognition is yet another testimony of excellence for Central India Public School.

Education World

Education world is a leading publication on Education in India. Every year the magazine conducts surveys so that schools are ranked under various categories. It’s a moment of pride to share with you all that CIPS has been ranked the 6th best Co educational day school in Nagpur. On the occasion of Teachers Day, Navbharat media has felicitated our teacher Ms. Bhavana Ramrakhiyani in the field of education. Hearty congratulations to all.

There were a number of activities conducted to develop the required Gross motor skills, Fine motor skills and other capacities. The reopening day for our Primary students is always welcoming. We strive to see their growth emotionally, socially, physically and academically.

We have been committed to create an environment in the school which helps the young minds to blossom and provide a platform for individual thinking and holistic development of child’s personality. We set standards and goals for ourselves and strive to achieve them- be it in the area of academics, sports, discipline leadership and many more.

Academic Results

The year 2024-25 commenced on a wonderful note when the results of grade 10 board exam were declared. We are happy to share the commendable performance of our students.

Ms Antara Vyapari secured 94.2% & topped the school followed by Mast Karan Khandekar who stood second with a score of 93.4% and Mast Sejal Wanjari at third position with 92.6%. Mast Arnav Kukde scored 100/100 in IT.

With every passing year we see the students scaling the heights. None of the achievements would have been possible without the single minded commitment and dedicated care of the teachers.

Sports

  • 1. In CENSPORTS organized by Centre Point School, Divija Sawarkar and Anshika Bawankiule in under 12 girls category have won 1 silver and 1 bronze medal respectively, Reyansh Jambhulkar bagged 1 silver and Praneet Rokde won a bronze medal in Skating competition.
  • 2. Vivan Kumbhare won a silver medal in 8th St Vincent Palloti Skating Championship.
  • 3. Girls Kho-Kho team won the Tehsil DSO match and was qualified for District level
  • 4. Mast Ninad Meshram won Tehsil level DSO Chess competition and was qualified for District level.
  • 5. Dyanesh Sarve and Shreyas Mahajan were qualified for state level DSO karate championship. Our Karatekars participated in various interschool events and brought laurels to school.
  • 6. Interschool Nagpur District level skating competition- we bagged 4 golds, 3 silvers and 4 Bronze
  • 7. Skating Association of Maharashtra- Mini State Roller inline Hockey Championship – Om Shelke,Sparsh Pethe, Vedanshu Ingole, Jay Bawankule and Vedant Kumbhare were Selected for State Level

Co Curricular Activities

The school is divided into 4 houses. These houses perform its duty in conducting day to day activities, competitions in systematic and disciplined way. There were myriad of activities conducted. To name a few are Solo Song Competition, fancy dress, painting ,drawing, Rangoli making, pottery decoration, card making ,story telling, elocution, debate, Mock Parliament, poem recitation, salad decoration, flower arrangements ,slogan writing, cricket match, laghori and khokho for girls, fun races for juniors, and the list is endless.

Besides these we observed all the special days, celebrated National, Religious and Regional festivals, paid tributes to great leaders. The students participated in Green Rally, Peace Rally and presented Street plays in prominent locations. Integrated Science Exhibition , Dental checkup camp and General health checkups were conducted. The Investiture ceremony provided an experience of cabinet ministry and democracy.

The students enjoyed the field trips and picnics to Museum, Gorewada Zoo, Tiger Paradise Amusement park.

External Competitions

In addition to the competitions held in school, our students participated in various interschool competitions too. TOI had organized ‘Saving our Stripes” poster making competition in which Ms. Sachi Parate of grade 7 won a gift voucher. Students participated in CENFEST in various literary competitions like Sanskrit Katha Kathan, Elocution, Narrative Poem Recitation. The students participated in All India Quiz competition , Spell Bee competition etc. Ms Antara Vyapari secured 3rd in Declamation Competition.

Olympiad Achievements

Here we have huge achievements in Olympiad Exams. Divyansh Kullarkar, Vipra Karde, Vedant Mundle, Mohammad Ibrahim won Gold Medal of Excellence and Misheeta won Medal of Distinction in International English Olympiad whereas Sejal Wanjari ,Grishma Wasnik , Gourav Mangatani won Gold Medals and Gourav was qualified for the next level and achieved 12th Zonal rank National Science Olympiad.
The winners list is quite long for Mathematics Olympiad, however to mention a few who have excelled to the next level and won medals of Distinction are Anish Kushwaha, Gyanesh Jaiswal and Misheeta Mukherjee. Similarly 12 students of CIPS have won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals collectively in AkhilBhartiya Hindi Olympiad. Ridhima Chouhan and Aarav Agrawal qualified for 2nd level in IMO and ISSO respectively.

It’s aptitude which sets the attitude of knowledge. National Astronomy Science Olympiad (NASO)was organized by NavarsEdu Tech in which Gyanesh, Samir Gumgaonkar and Anish Kushwaha grabbed Gold Medals.
Around 16 students have won Gold and Silver medals collectively in Master Art Competition conducted at PAN India Level

Trainings and Workshop

CIPS consists of Well trained Experienced and dedicated teaching staff . Staying updated and keeping oneself abreast of changing policies and strategies in Education system is inevitable. Hence the teachers including the Principal undergo several capacity building programs. The New Education Policy is implemented and conformed to the Board’s mandate.
Teachers attended CBP training on the topic < Experiential Learning’conducted by CBSE CoE Pune.

For Students a First Aid Training was organized in association with Dr Yash Banait, an expert Pediatrician. A workshop on personal health and hygiene was conducted for the girls of grade 6 to 9.

In order to keep the parents updated and build a strong bond, an Orientation program was organized in the beginning of the session. Eating habits of young generation is a major concern. To guide the parents, a Nutrition Talk was given by an expert renowned Nutritionist Dr Rita Bhargavafor Primary parents.
Several field trips were organized.

Infrastructural Developments

With every passing year, the school is witnessing additions and developments in the infrastructure. Maintenance is a continuous process. Efforts are been taken to beautify the ambience and the surroundings. Safety and Security is taken care of. Additional furniture for the library and sports room have been added. The number of computers have been increased.

PTA Activities

Parent Teacher meetings are conducted at regular intervals. The EPTA meets and discusses on important issues for the school development. A number of activities are conducted in collaboration with parent members.

Environmental Initiatives

The school in association with community members takes initiatives in environment conservation programs. Tree plantation is held every year . The students are taught the sustainable programs. Students are involved in projects to conserve water, recycling of waste material etc.

SMC decisions

School Management Committee is a very vital part of school. The committee meets at least 2-3 times in an academic session. Fee revision and many school development plans are discussed in the meeting and implemented.

Conclusion

A school cannot function without the unstinted support and encouragement from its stakeholders. We deeply acknowledge the constant guidance and valuable suggestions we have received from various quarters. We are grateful to our Directors for always being with us in all crucial decision making.
